Yargul (Women’s)
Leadership Program

A six-month, culturally safe leadership journey created by and for First Nations women leaders.

Through knowledge-sharing modules, yarning circles and 1:1 coaching, participants strengthen identity, wellbeing and practical leadership capability.

You’ll learn to navigate cultural/colonial load and power dynamics with clarity; practise visioning and strategic planning, and build the skills to mentor and grow others, supported by a dedicated First Nations women’s peer network.

We run an in-house cohort each year and can also deliver this program for your organisation.

Case Study

Yargul with Djirra

Blak Wattle partnered with Djirra to deliver a three-month Yargul program across two service sites and online. The program brought First Nations women together through facilitated sessions, coaching and culturally grounded leadership practice.'

Sharing my immense and heartfelt gratitude to Caroline and the team at Blak Wattle for the opportunity to purposefully reflect on leadership and nurture self/spirit. Caroline's intentional voice and intuitive practices have and continue to inspire me. I felt deeply listened to and with guided introspection, grew in how I can show up for myself, my family and community.
